The TCHS Kindness Club invites you to our HAUNTED BARN at the Fall Carnival TOMORROW, Friday, October 30th! 💀 Admission: $5.00 per person 🎟️ Ticket Booth will be located outside 🕸️ Time: 6:00pm - 7:45ish 🎃 Location: Bus Barn We will take a short intermission for the Carnival Coronation at 8:00 PM, but don't worry… THE SCARES AREN'T OVER YET! The Haunted Barn will REOPEN after coronation for a late-night scare session! Come support our Kindness Club and see if you can make it through the Haunted Barn!

Southern Illinois youth empowerment network came to speak with our K-5th grade students today about bullying.

Today, TCHS students traveled to The Pavilion in Marion to attend the 4th Annual High School College & Career Fair!

A HUGE thank you to the ROE for organizing this wonderful event and providing students throughout our region with such a valuable experience!

❤️ Red Ribbon Week Activities ❤️ Today, our Kindness Club had the opportunity to visit our Grade School classrooms and spread a little KINDNESS! We read a story about kindness to the students and then helped them paint special rocks for Maycee's Rock Garden! It was such a fun day filled with smiles, creativity, and kindness! We loved seeing our high school students being positive role models for our younger Tigers! A HUGE thank you to our Grade School students and teachers for welcoming us into your classrooms and allowing us to spend time with you! Remember, a little kindness can make a BIG difference!

🚌 High School Field Trip! On Wednesday, October 28, all Thompsonville High School students will be traveling to The Pavilion in Marion to attend the 4th Annual High School College & Career Fair! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore different colleges, career paths, and future opportunities while connecting with professionals and learning about life after high school! Students will leave school Wednesday morning and return before lunch. We are excited for our students to have this opportunity to learn, explore, and start thinking about their futures!

TIGER CROSS COUNTRY ISN’T FINISHED YET! The Thompsonville Tigers traveled to West Frankfort today to compete in the IHSA Cross Country Regionals, and what a day it was for our runners! EVERY SINGLE TIGER SET A NEW PERSONAL RECORD! These young men showed up ready to compete, pushed themselves to new limits, and finished their season with their fastest times yet! Regional Results: • John Gregory Fisher – 16:49.1 • Keagon Clarida – 19:56.2 • Riley Mullins – 20:09.3 • Kason Stanley – 22:27.4 • Carter Alexander – 22:31.8 • Jamesdon Mayberry – 23:06.7 ‼️AND WE HAVE A SECTIONAL QUALIFIER! ‼️ A HUGE congratulations to John Gregory Fisher, who earned his spot at the IHSA Sectional Meet! John Gregory will continue representing the Thompsonville Tigers as he advances to the next round of postseason competition! While today’s meet marks the end of the season for our team as a whole, we couldn’t be prouder of what these athletes have accomplished. This is only our second season since bringing cross country back to Thompsonville, and with nearly half of our team competing in the sport for the very first time, the growth we’ve witnessed has been incredible. These boys have put in the miles, battled through tough practices, pushed through challenges, and continued to improve throughout the season. Today was proof that their hard work has paid off! We’re not just proud of the times they’ve run, but of the determination, sportsmanship, and Tiger Pride they’ve shown along the way. The future of Thompsonville Cross Country is looking BRIGHT! 💙 Congratulations to ALL of our runners on an outstanding season, and best of luck to John Gregory as he prepares for Sectionals! Fall Carnival Royalty! Who will be crowned our 2026 Carnival King and Queen and Carnival Prince and Princess? Donation boxes for our Carnival Royalty candidates are now set up in the commons area! The winners will be determined by the amount of money collected in their donation boxes. Every penny counts, so be sure to support your favorite candidates! Coronation will take place Friday, October 30, at 8:00 PM during the Fall Carnival! Come out, support our candidates, and join us for a fun evening at Thompsonville School!

🎃 Pumpkin Carving with a Marketing Twist! Today, our Social Media Marketing students put their creativity to the test with a fun pumpkin “carving” activity! Instead of actually carving pumpkins, students had to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth based on different marketing strategies and business decisions! Each pumpkin turned out completely different, showing how businesses can take different approaches to marketing and create something unique! Who knew marketing could be so SPOOKTACULAR? 🎃👻
