5th grade students completed their final Science experiment on mixtures today. Thanks to Isaac and Caroline for bringing in sand and pebbles for our experiment today!
2nd grade had the opportunity to participate in Class Dojo Career Day today! Class Dojo currently has a new program, Dojo Islands in beta mode. The class had a Zoom call with a few Class Dojo employees. The employees told the students about their jobs, what they do for Class Dojo, and what they contributed to Dojo Islands. The students got to play on the program and then had a chance to tell the Dojo employees what they would add to the website or take away from it.
This was such a great opportunity and the kids enjoyed getting to talk to people who are designing a game they enjoy playing in class.
There will be an Air Evac helicopter landing in the back of the school as a landing zone. This is in no way related to the school.

Don't forget that middle school Scholar Bowl tryouts are after school today until 3:30 PM in Mrs. Darnell's classroom! This is for students in 6th-8th grades. Students who have signed up should come into Mrs. Darnell's room directly after school.
We had so many students sign up for the team this year that we had to host a try-out for all students in grades 6th - 8th. Team lists will be posted outside Mrs. Darnell's room tomorrow morning. Weekly practices will be held every Wednesday after school for 30 minutes starting on September 21st.

Everyday is a great day to be a Tiger!!! 🐯Today we have 3 Teams that are celebrating their victories from last night!! The High School Varsity Volleyball Team came out on top over the Christopher Bearcats 22-25 21-25. The Jr. High Baseball Team’s final score was 15-0 against the Pope Co. Pirates. Last but certainly not least, The Jr. High Softball Team also defeated the Pope Co. Pirates 8-7. 🏐⚾️🥎
