Important Athletic Update! The Illinois Department of Public Health has issued rules and regulations that schools must follow in order to have sports this year. One rule is that all spectators must be 30 feet from the playing floor. Due to the limited size of our gym, it is simply not possible for us to meet this rule. We have measured and looked at many different options, however, we are unable to keep spectators 30 feet from the playing area. As a result, there will be NO SPECTATORS at any HOME games this year. We know this is very disappointing. However, this regulation is not something Thompsonville Schools can control, it is State policy.

All sports practices are cancelled for January 27th. Thank you

For sport practices, We are not supplying masks. Have your student bring their own mask or they will not practice and have to leave. If there is clothing that is left it will be disposed of at 8am the following day. So if your student forgets something have them get to school before 8 and grab it. Thank you!

Due to cheerleaders being counted as spectators, per the Phase 4 guidelines, as for the grade school season, we will not be having cheerleading. We are still waiting on information from the IHSA before a decision is made for HS Cheer.
