
National Honor Society candidates: Applications are due to Ms. Chiaventone by the end of the day Friday, January 24!

7th grade created adapted poems from "Gold" by Pat Mora. Students incorporated Google Drawings and Docs to create a background that matched their poem. The poems celebrated students' favorite outdoor area in Southern Illinois.

We had a wonderful experience visiting with Veterans at the Marion VA Medical Center! We sang, shared stories, handed out Christmas cards, socks, and handkerchiefs. However, the connections we made and the stories that were shared made the visit a lasting memory!




Congrats to Ashley Jackson on being named a Horatio Alger State Scholar and the receipt of a $10,000 scholarship from the Horatio Alger Association. We are proud of you!
