Outside Projects by Our High School Students... Art Club did an awesome painting on the front windows of the school. Mr. Fitch took some of his classes and put up the athletic signs. They were repurposed from the ones that were the letterman jackets last year. The kids did a great kid and a big shout out to Ms. Stewart and her art department for all of their help!

If you've considered changing your career to teaching, this information may be of interest to you! The Golden Apple Accelerator Program helps individuals who hold a bachelor's degree earn their teaching license in a 15-month program. Accelerators stay within their home community while completing coursework and gaining experience to prepare them to enter the classroom as a licensed teacher in time for the 25/26 school year. Accelerators will be provided mentoring for three years, have their tuition and fees paid by Golden Apple, and receive a $10,000 stipend for any educational expenses. Interested candidates are welcome to attend the virtual information session on Jan. 23 at 4:00. The Zoom link for the information session can be found here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89238174912#success

The Jr. High Scholar Bowl match has been canceled for today due to Pope County being out of school for a snow day. We will not have practice after school today either. We have a match scheduled next Wednesday, January 24th in Harrisburg and will have practice after school that day. If that changes due to weather or for other reasons, an update will be posted here on the school page.
