Q2 5th-8th PBIS Celebration!!
Thank you to Pearson's Skating Rink for having us today! We had lots of fun!! Lots of Skating, Lots of Games, and LOTS of laughs.
First grade had a great time at PBIS today! We watched The Grinch and had a yummy treat of hot chocolate and cookies! 🍪
A lot of accomplishments are being made in 3rd grade! Hallie and Jude passed addition, subtraction, and multiplication on XtraMath. Jude, Bria, and Hallie earned a certificate on Mathletics for working hard. Ridge, Hallie, and Gabba earned a certificate on Reading Eggs for working hard. Jude, Hadlie, Karma, Hallie, and Elliotte scored 100% on recent spelling tests. Ridge, Aubrey, and Karma completed a level on Lexia! Congratulations! 🌟
Thank you so much to the Cave Eastern Fire Department and Akin Masonic Lodge for donating toys for our kids! Also thank you to Deb's Cafe, First Baptist Church of Thompsonville, Dollar General in Thompsonville, Big O Farm and Garden, and Bain and Associates for hosting the collection boxes!

5-8th is also tomorrow afternoon! They will be going to the Skating Rink.
Students must have socks to skate. They need to bring their own money if they want concessions or to play the games.

Yesterday, our high school Anatomy classes dissected chicken wings as a conclusion to their unit about the muscular system. Students removed the skin to reveal the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and even bones of the chicken wing.
There will be no after school tutoring the following dates: December 11, December 13, or January 3. We will resume tutoring as normal on Monday, January, 8th.

TOMORROW is Retake Picture Day and Jr. High and High School Boys & Girls Basketball and Cheerleading Picture Day. Also, any Clubs or Organizations that were not taken yet.

Homecoming week has come to an end! The high school spent the day making posters and floats, decorating the gym and creating skits.
Our overall winner for the week was the Junior Class!!
Our participation winners for elementary and Jr High go to 3rd and 8th grade!
