Attention all 5th grade parents. Your child we be tested on band instruments these next two weeks to determine what instruments fits them best. You will receive a letter to go home and an email with the results. Joining band is optional and lessons are offered every Wednesday. The attached document offers you the information you need in order to rent or purchase an instrument and supplies.

Brand New Planners were given to your children today if they are in Mrs. Fisher's Study Hall. The students are to fill the planners out in each class and bring them to Study Hall. They were advised to take them home nightly.

We're going to brag again today on some of our awesome students...Olivia goes out of her way daily to lead others in encouragement and positive attitudes, Gentry and Kealoha have both been caught lending a helping hand out of the goodness of their hearts without even being asked, and Brayden took it upon himself to be a good friend to someone who just needed a buddy until they felt better. Good things are happening everyday and these kids know how to make it happen!
Our HS Volleyball team has planned themes for their home games. Please come support your Lady Tigers and participate in their themed games this season!

NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
The Board of Education of Thompsonville Community Unit School District No. 174 has approved a Tentative Budget for the 2023-2024 school year. The Tentative Budget is on display and available for inspection in the District Office between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on school days between August 16, 2023 and September 21, 2023. The Budget Hearing will be held September 21, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the District Office. The regular meeting for September will be held immediately following the Budget Hearing.
