The “sick student” policy right now is that they need a doctors note to return to school, also any other students in the household must stay home as well. This measure is being taken to continue to protect our students and staff. If you have any questions about your student or what to do if this situation arises please feel free to call the nurse. Thank you for your cooperation!

As of today, 8/25/21, we have no limits on attendance. Fans will be required to wear masks. We will have concessions this year. Please keep your mask on while waiting in line, of course if you are eating you can take your mask off. We will have someone live streaming our home games and hopefully our away games as well, incase you do not feel comfortable coming to the games. If attendance policies change, per governor's mandates, we will update you using our social media.

Tonight's (8/24) HS volleyball game at Hardin County has been canceled.

Don’t forget to order your Tiger Pride Shirt before it’s too late. All shirt orders and money need to be turned in by Friday, September 3rd. All kindergarten through 4th grade students are encouraged to buy a shirt so the students match for field trips.

Thompsonville Schools is still on a 2pm dismissal until further notice.

Parents and Guardians: Please read the following statement and complete the survey at the link below. Quarantined? How do I get back to school faster? Under rules from IDPH students that become a close contact may not have to quarantine. If you are unvaccinated and have no symptoms you can choose to be Covid tested. Parents will need to sign the consent for Covid testing. The school nursing office will test students that choose to take this step in order to stay at school on days 1, 3, 5, and 7 after they have been determined to be contacts. As long as you test negative you can remain in school and continue to participate in all activities with no quarantine. Currently, vaccinated students are not required by IDPH to be quarantined. There will be cheer clinics on Tuesday 8/17 and Thursday 8/19 from 3-5pm for any 5th-8th grade students interested. Tryouts will be held Friday 8/20 at 3:00pm.

Thompsonville School wants to congratulate Preston Fox, Karley Jones, and Wiley Jones for their success this summer in the State and National Rodeos. Preston won 2nd in Team Roping at the Nationals. Karley won 1st in Barrels and 3rd in Breakaway Roping at the State Rodeo. Wiley won Team Roping, Steer Daubing, Steer Stopping, and Break Away Roping at the State Rodeo. Congrats guys!! We are proud of you!
