If any family is considering remote learning as an option this year they need to contact the school. We will have specific criteria and documentation that will be required to be considered for remote learning. Remote learning will be provided by an outside provider at no cost to the family. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the school.

Parents/Guardians: If you are planning to utilize online registration, we MUST have a current email on file for you. This email will be used to send the link for the online registration. If you are planning to register your student via the online method, please send an email to Amber Fisher at afisher@tvilleschools.org and include the names of your student(s). We apologize for any inconvenience as we start working with our new system, TeacherEase. We appreciate your patience.

We were hoping to release our back to school plans for masks today. However, with the recent guidance from the CDC and IDPH we are going to hold off until August 6th to get that out. We will be discussing with our school insurance provider and our school attorney what will be our best options for the masks.
This is just for the mask portion of our return to school plan. We are still planning on having full day attendance, 8 to 3, 5 days a week.

Parents and Guardians: You may have received a push notification from TeacherEase a few moments ago. This occurred as part of the setup for our new online registration program. Please disregard the notification at this time. We will send another notification the morning of August 3 to let those parents interested in registering students online know the program is available for you to do so. Please keep in mind that we are working with a new system. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Registration will take place on Tuesday, August 3 from 10:00-6:00. Returning students have the option to register online. All families new to the District and Kindergarten students must register in person and must provide a proof of residency. If you are unable to attend the registration event, please contact the school.

For students requiring or wanting a dental exam this year we will have Dental Safari 🦷 🐯 coming March 2nd 2022. They are allowed to participate in this. Please contact the nurse if you have any questions.

For students entering 12th grade, please contact if you have any questions.

Parent Action Kit to Communicate with the Illinois General Assembly
Directions: Copy and paste the message below in the form of an email to your senator and representative.
It is recommended that you do not change the message below. It is important that a consistent and
clear message is sent to the Illinois General Assembly that communities throughout the state of Illinois
are requesting local control of the protocols regarding COVID-19 safety measures.

Email Communication to Illinois General Assembly
Dear Insert Senator or Representative Name Here:
This past year has been a challenging time for communities throughout the entire state of Illinois. Thank
you for your leadership during the pandemic in terms of the guidance and resources used to support the
work our schools do at a local level. There is no doubt that you personally have taken on several
challenges in your role, and like local school leaders, many of these challenges had no clear winning
outcomes. We hope to continue to have your support during this upcoming school year to ensure the
safety of our students and communities while providing a high-quality educational experience.
The purpose of this letter is to request local control in the implementation of COVID-19 safety measures
and protocols utilized within each school district. We believe that local boards of education and
superintendents are best positioned and capable of planning reasonable and safe approaches to educate the
students of our communities. The past 16 months have provided our local leaders with ample experience
and knowledge to lead locally with your support.
We write to you to ask for your support in local district implementation. The guidance provided must not
be a one-size-fits-all solution. Illinois is a large, diverse state filled with diverse school districts that
educate students with unique needs and different barriers to learning. A plan that may be sensible and
effective in one school district may not be sensible and effective in other districts. With your support, we
can make the upcoming school year a memorable one that will help get education back-on-track by
recovering learning loss, providing social-emotional support, and keeping our communities safe.
Please consider allowing local control of school districts in terms of COVID-19 safety measures.
Sincerely,
Insert Your Name Here.
