
Students and Parents: Any items remaining in lockers must be picked up this Monday, 4/20 between 8:00-3:00. K-5 supplies not previously picked up remain bagged in the elementary hallway. This will be the last opportunity to pick up items remaining in the building.

Monday’s 4/20 Packets, for the students will be for the remainder of the year. Your students should end up with several weeks of work left. The drop off will be on Monday’s from 9-12 starting the 27th for the 20ths packets. Also you can email your homework back to your teachers if you choose. You will be able to download packets as well off of our website and app.

Kindergarten screenings have been cancelled for April 24. They will not be rescheduled this year.

If you have an iPhone or iPad you actually have a scanner! If you are planning to scan any work to your teachers you can use the ‘Notes App’. Open a new note, press the camera button, the option to scan document will pop up. Once the document is scanned, you can email it with less data than a photo.

Ms. Culbreth is excited to announce that several junior high poets have been chosen to have their poetry published! Due to our unique situation this school year, students should watch for more information in the mail. Congratulations to our poets!

We have all the packets uploaded on the school web page and the app. Go to documents, then click on district, and then find your student's teachers name. Some teachers teach more than one subject so you may have to sift through the material and find what you need.

HS Students can come up starting at 8:30 today 4/13 to get what they need and pick up packets if they choose to do so.

Our Lunch Services Start back up this week. We will be only having it two days a week from now on. On Monday you will either pick up or have delivered two breakfasts and two lunches. Wednesday you have have three of each that will either be picked up or delivered.

Sophomores: Mrs. Shires has assigned The Giver, by Lois Lowry, to be read for Remote Learning.
Juniors: Mrs. Shires has assigned The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, to be read for Remote Learning.

Remote Learning Update: The method used to contact your student’s teacher may have changed. This is due to social distancing recommendations.
Beginning Monday, all K-8 parents will be receiving a phone call from your child’s homeroom teachers to determine how best to communicate with you and your child during remote learning.
HS Students and Parents: Please see the attachment for how to best let your teacher know how to contact you. If emailing a teacher for assistance, please provide a parent’s phone number for a return phone call.
If anyone has any trouble reaching your student’s teacher, please contact Mr. Harris or Ms. Chiaventone.


Just a reminder:
Remote learning packets will be available online and for pickup Monday, 04/13.
Grades K-5: 8:00-10:00; Grades 6-8: 10:30-12:30; HS: 1:00-3:00. Students needing books should pick these up during the assigned time slot. See attached pictures to determine which students need books. K-5 students do NOT need textbooks to complete packets.
You may return your packet the following Monday OR you may email the answers to your student’s teacher either by taking pictures of the document or scanning it.
