Our hearts were touched by a letter we received at the school, one written by a fan of the opposing team who had attended a recent game. The letter wasn’t about the final score or a big home run… it was about a player.
She described watching a blonde center fielder with quiet confidence—a player who was always paying attention, always ready, and could be counted on every single time the ball came her way.
“She just stood out,” the letter read. “She left a real impression on me.”
That blonde was Amilya Williford! We are very proud of you, Amilya! 💛
