Our high school Anatomy class took a trip to Rend Lake College's cadaver lab this morning. Students were able to participate in several activities including a skeleton building race and various breathing exercises. They were able to look at X-rays, virtually dissect a body, and learn about anatomy from a real cadaver before having lunch and heading back to school. We're so grateful to RLC's science department for this amazing opportunity!

Our Art Club upperclassmen had an amazing day at the St. Louis Art Museum! They explored incredible works of art, gained new inspiration, and represented our school with outstanding behavior. We’re so proud of how respectful and engaged they were throughout the trip. Check out some of their favorite pieces from the museum below — such a fun and enriching day for our talented students!

The Kindness Club had an amazing evening filled with Play-Doh, Kinetic sand, crafts, coloring, Chromebooks, short movies, pizza and gym time—followed by a super fun egg hunt! We wrapped up the night with a glow-in-the-dark dance party, and let’s just say... I’m not sure who had more fun—the little kids or the high school kids! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Kindness Club. These are the memories that last!

2nd grade is full of proud authors! Insects were the focus of our last reading unit. Each student was assigned an insect to research, illustrate a picture of, and write about, which was then put into a book that we had published. 🐞🐛🐜🪲
