This week Pre-K has been studying farms. Today we learned how wheat gets from the field to food and the students milled wheat into flour.

4th Grade celebrated the end of our Personal Narrative unit by making a Character Traits Candy Salad! Each student picked a kind of candy that they felt represented themselves. Students enjoyed their sweet treat while writing about why they chose their candy and how it describes them!

🏅First grade had so much fun participating in the "Fable Olympics" today! This was a closing activity to celebrate our unit of study all about Fables! 🇺🇸











Shout out to Mrs. Freeman who applied for and won a grant through the IL Retired Teachers Foundation to make a young adult library for her high school English classes! Lots of great books are headed this way! Thank you Mrs. Freeman congrats to you and your students!


Mr. Smith's 8th Grade Physical Education Class climbed approximately 1,100 steps today. Around half of the number of stairs that our first responders did 23 years ago during the 9/11 attacks. We will always remember!






Students in Ms. Finn's PE climbed a total of 140 flights (1,120 stairs) each today in honor and remembrance of the first responders of 9/11.







Mrs. Fisher's 2nd Hour worked on a Patriotic Agamographs in Honor of 9/11
