7th and 8th grade will be visiting Rend Lake College for Career Connection Day on Friday, May 1st. We are stopping for lunch at their favorite fast food place before we return to school, so bring lunch money. It will be a day full of information!

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Nguyen for his dedication to our school and students! Because of his efforts, Thompsonville CUSD #174 has been awarded the Illinois Heart Rescue Community AED Grant.
Thanks to this grant, our school will be receiving a new AED along with 10 CPR training manikins (including both adult and child). This equipment will allow us to train our staff. Helping ensure we are prepared to respond in critical situations and potentially save lives.
Opportunities like this make a lasting impact on the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community. We truly appreciate the time and effort Mr. Nguyen put into securing this grant for us!
